The Montreal Canadiens confirmed the transfer of their American Hockey League farm team to the future Place Bell in Laval for the 2017-2018 season.President of the club, Geoff Molson, made the announcement alongside general manager Marc Bergevin and Laval Mayor Marc Demers Monday morning.The AHL approved the transfer of the IceCaps to Laval and a contest is set up to find a new name for the team.
