Veteran NHLer and one-time Montreal Canadiens forward Scott Gomez has decided to retire, according to the Alaska Dispatch News.In an interview with the newspaper, Gomez revealed he no longer had the will to battle for an NHL job.He added that he was very proud to have opened the door to professional hockey for Alaskans.
